Teaching Assistant SEN (Medical Needs), Fixed term until July 2019

Term time only 26.25 hours per week, Salary from  £16,781 pro rata (Band D Point 14-17)

Job requirements:

A vacancy has arisen for a Teaching Assistant in one of our Reception classes. The Governors would like to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our successful team.  The successful applicant will support a pupil with medical needs which involves administration of medication via injection following health care plan set out by school. 

They will also need to demonstrate that they are: 

 
• Committed to raising standards, ensuring children achieve their full potential in acquiring the essential skills needed in reading, writing and numeracy.
• Adaptable and able to work on their own initiative.
• Committed to working in partnership with colleagues, other professionals and families.

Welfare Assistant Permanent

Term time only 7.5 hours per week, Salary from  £15,014 pro rata (Band A Point 6)

Job requirements:

The governors are seeking to appoint a welfare assistant who is enthusiastic and totally committed to maintaining the high standards already established and becoming part of a hardworking team. The successful candidate would be required to supervise pupils during the lunch period, in the dining hall and playground areas and school premises, ensuring the safety, welfare, physical and mental well-being of pupils and the maintenance of good order and discipline.

The successful candidate will be:
Committed to promoting and ensuring good behaviour and a calm atmosphere,
Confident dealing with any misbehaviour that may occur in accordance with the school’s behaviour policy,
Able to address issues calmly and politely and in doing so be a positive role model to the children,
Committed to working in partnership with colleagues, other professionals and families.
