Our School Day

Ursuline Catholic Primary School is an Aided Catholic Primary School, under the trusteeship of the Archdiocese of Liverpool, catering for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years.  We are a two form entry school with capacity for 420 pupils.

Ursuline is a Catholic School and the religious education it provides conforms to the doctrines of the Catholic Church.  All children take part in a collective act of worship each day.  Parents should be aware that they can withdraw their children from all or part of the religious education and collective worship provided.  However, the withdrawal of pupils from formal religious education or worship would not isolate them from the school’s Catholic ethos.

The school admits a maximum of 60 pupils to its Reception Classes each September.  In accordance with the law we limit the number of each Reception/Infant Class to 30.
