General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
At Ursuline we collect and use a range of data to carry out our work. The GDPR applies in all EU member states from 25 May 2018. It affects how organisations, including schools, manage, protect and share personal data.
The new General Data Protection Regulation requires us to make it clear how we use any data we might hold. We have a range of policies and notices, available via our website, that are being updated to make it easier for you to find out how we use and protect your information.
Ursuline is working with Nexus Protect (www.nexus-protect.com) to review and monitor all aspects of GDPR. Their managing director, Nick Holden, will be acting as our Data Protection Officer.
We ask parents and carers to ensure that their children’s information is up to date and to return updated requests for information as well as consent where applicable.
If you have any questions, please contact the school office for information.
